I love summertime in Manchester. The sun shines, the beer's cold, the accordian players on Deansgate piss off when you give them evil stares and best of all, student land is full of nubile young ladies wearing skimpy summer clothes. Now, don't think i just lurk about there day after day videotaping girls in shorts, that would be creepy. I get people to do that for me and send me the edited highlights. I think i'm getting to a point, oh yes, I'm not a student anymore, but there's still the days when the urge to go to the pub, sit and drink in the sun, stare at the scantily clad women and lie to myself about how much of the project i've got done overwhelm me, and so every now and then you should stop and f*ck about for a few hours. but don't block my view.
From KOBAL Theatre Company :- An invitation to attend our next play "The Man With The Incredibly Strong Lips". At the Grange Arts Centre, Rochdale Road, Oldham from Wednesday 5th to Saturday 8th May. Well, We've now got a forum, and that should be good for a giggle, endlessly spouting crap at each other for years on end. I'll have to see how that works out. In other news I shan't be running the roleplay game tonight cos i'm off to watch the Reduced Shakespeare Company again. This time they're doing 'All the great books'. Should be good. Man I'm tired. need sleep. or as crapload of coffee. I wonder what Zebra tastes like?
I've been thinking about bands again, and something puzzles me.Deep Purple aren't exactly that philosophical. Blue have yet to do a sad song and I'm damn sure Maroon 5 have never been abandoned on a desert island. Makes you think.

Sleep, wonderful sleep Thursday 20th May
Mornings suck. I know i've said it before, and i'll say it again, but mornings really do suck. I don't understand people that get enough sleep and can bounce out of bed. For me, each morning is a struggle against the powers of darkness to rise from the crypt. And I don't know whether to worship the snooze button or hate it.
I don't understand the people that are proud of only needing four hours of sleep a night and feel fresh as a daisy. Sleep is a wonderful thing! It's fun, and doesn't cost anything, plus, by it's own nature it's comfortable. So remember when you go to bed tonight, sleep is your friend, enjoy it. |

... Working Mostly Monday 31th May
Alright, so acknowledge the fact that whatever i promise here is going to be a huge lie, and badly spelt. But i'll give it a go. You see the thing is i'm about to move house, or at least that's the plan, and when are the keys due? Oh, that'll be when i'm in Norway. So I'm off for a few weeks with this stuff and then i'll see what i can do. |
