Thursday 12th April Sooo… it's April already. How's it going with you? I'm doing alright, and my doctor says that if I promise to be good, they might even let me out into the garden today. I like this place, it's so calming and quiet and nobody presses charges when I jab pencils into people. Probably because they don't often let me have pencils anyway. I'm ok now, but it's a little surprising that once a year or so I wake up in this place with the bars on the windows and occasionally the beds. Apparently this time it was something to do with smearing my naked chest with blood, howling at the moon, clipping strangers with a whip, while at the same time standing astride a taxi speeding down Oxford Road as the driver attempts to shake me off. At noon. It'll just turn out to have been a misunderstanding though. Occasionally the work that I do becomes a little too much of a burden and a little safety valve clicks into place. I call it burning-people-with-spiky-objects. Maybe that's a little further than most people, but hey, we're not all built the same. Cos if we were, you'd have Sylvester Stallone's haircut. So what've I been doing in the past month or so? Well, I've got more info on what life is like in Amsterdam, but since each day is a touch long (and some involve photos) then I'll write them and upload them as and when I get chance. The Student Nationals were a week or so back, and if you've been following the news, VAGUE came second. For the fourth year running. Not that I'm bitter, but after the Wargames results came out, it was blatently obvious that Sheffield had won again. So that's something to look forward to. I'll do the photodiary thing as and when I can be bothered. So hold on tight until then. I've also been looking at automating the blog archive so that I wouldn't have to create a new page every month. But as you can tell I've been meaning to do that since last march as well. The comic's gone byebye, phoenix labs has been dead for nearly 3 years now, Ask Cthulhu gets more porn daily than it ever had and George Foreman Invents is coughing under a large pile of dust. It's long long overdue for an overhaul, but how and when? Watch this space. I also went to Chester Zoo. On Good Friday. Don't ask why, just accept the fact that I did. I cannot begin to describe the people and the conditions there, but trust me when I say that each of those fetid stinking, scratching, disgusting creatures will surely pay later on in life for the hell that was the zoo on that day. Especially since I conspired with the tigers, lions, apes, birds and other creatures that lived there and poisoned each and every ignorant bastard there with a swift dysentery injection to the neck. That'll teach them what continent Brazil is on. Still no acting work though. Not had any for over a year now. (I'm not counting that jag on Coronation St since it was about 2 minutes work and 2 seconds screen at the very most). I'll have to ring them again and see what's going on. Oh well, here comes the nurse with the pills. I hope she has blue ones today. |
Saturday 14th April
Right. Here's the deal. I'm rebuilding the site from the very basics. This time you might even notice a difference or two. So for the near future there will be things missing, a few dodgy links here and there and possibly even some stuff completely erased. Most things that you've been ignoring for the past few years will be back, but they may be re-arranged a little and in different places.
Feel free to give feedback and other comments, and especially when you find something that's obviously faulty, like an image that's gone, then just gimme a line. You know the number.
Peace out, my mo-fo's
